Family Support Partnership Lanarkshire is a strategic partnership between Family Mediation South Lanarkshire, Relate Lanarkshire and Scottish Marriage Care.
The partnership brings together North and South Lanarkshire’s main relationship counselling, sexual therapy, child contact centre and family mediation services.
By working together we aim to provide a truly joined-up service for couples and families across Lanarkshire.

Family Mediation South Lanarkshire
Family mediation helps parents who are separating or divorcing make their own arrangements and plans for the future, particularly regarding their children. This can involve:
- helping them communicate better
- providing groups for adults and children affected by separation or divorce
- facilitating contact between children and a parent who no longer lives with them
Family Mediation South Lanarkshire is a registered charity affiliated to Family Mediation Scotland.
Scottish Marriage Care
Scottish Marriage Care provides relationship counselling to couples and individuals all over Scotland.
SMC relationship counselling services are available to couples or individuals who are married, living together, living apart, divorced or separated. Our counselling services are offered without judgement or discrimination on any grounds and regardless of race, sexual orientation, religion, personal beliefs, or social background.
